The Night Vision Awards selection committee announced today they are now taking nominations for the 2017 Night Vision Awards Show to be held in Reno, NV at the Airborne Law Enforcement Association’s (ALEA) annual conference. Entries will be accepted until June 30.  The awards will be presented to recipients on Thursday, July 27 at an awards reception in the Edge Night Club inside the Peppermill Resort from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

The Night Vision Awards are a biennial event with ceremonies hosted by Aviation Specialties Unlimited, Night Flight Concepts, Vertical Magazine and Rotorcraft Pro Magazine. The purpose of the awards is to promote operational leadership and excellence in the use of night vision, in North America, and around the world.

“We moved to a biennial format to allow for more awards and a bigger ceremony,” said Night Vision Awards emcee Scott Emerine. “We look forward to honoring additional units and celebrating their heroism,” said Emerine.
